The second largest city in the Algarve, Portimaõ, is only 10 minutes away and is the chosen venue for F1 Grand Prix (Autodromo Internacional Algarve) and world class music festivals. Not mentioned in the below highlights are the popular POIs of the most popular waterpark in the region, Slide and Splash, just 5 minutes away. Amazing beaches are just 5 minutes from the house and we can recommend a great number of restaurants to try ranging from a short walk away to a drive up the mountain for traditional wild boar with stunning views over the Algarve.

Golf in the area

The wide selection of golf in the Algarve is first class. The choice is exceptional and makes for a golfers haven. Within a drive of 30 minutes there is some of the best courses in the region. Golfers will be spoilt for choice!

Portimaõ

Rich in culture, the host for world famous music festivals and the Portuguese Grand Prix there is plenty to see and do in this great city (10 minute drive). The city also boasts some incredible beaches, bars and clubs.

Ferragudo

A stunning Portuguese town Ferragudo has some incredible restaurants, bars and beaches but has kept all of its traditional features and has a warm vibe. Just 5 minutes away from the popular town it is a great place to stay and feel peaceful but close enough to pop to for a coffee or something stronger.
